Tulip Sashiko World embroidery kit - 1pc

The Sashiko World embroidery kits by Tulip contain everything you need to embroider according to the Japanese Sashiko technique. In ancient Japan, clothing pieces were reinforced or repaired by sewing several layers of fabric together with decorative running stitches, while nowadays the Sashiko technique is mainly used for decorative purposes. The embroidered cloth can be hung on a wall as decorative piece, but it can also be used as a cover for a cushion or a bread basket, for instance. The embroidery piece measures 34 x 34cm. The Sashiko World England series is available in 4 different designs with scenes from British culture.
