Milliner needles are extra-long needles with a round eye and a sharp tip. Traditionally, a milliner needle was used for making pleats and hats. They are made from non-nickel plated, high-carbon steel and are ideal for hand sewing heavy fabrics. Since they are longer than a standard needle, you can make larger stitches with them. The needles are available with a matte black finish or a matte black finish with a white eye.
