YARN The After Party 52: Eastern Sunset Shawl
Imagine a mild Spring evening as the sun gently sets with the beautiful Eastern Sunset Shawl. Generously measuring 200 x 50cm, this shawl is created through 3 different sections, each featuring a contrasting technique. The first begins with garter stitch, then the second transforms to mosaic knitting, with the third involving a lace pattern. All techniques are clearly detailed in the pattern for lesser experienced crafters, with the end result being universally stunning!
To create this shawl, all you need is 1 ball of Scheepjes Whirligig, with finishing touches made using 1 ball of Scheepjes Whirligigette in a complementary shade. In her example above, Margje used Whirligig colour 209 Plum to Red and Whirligigette colour 251 Plum. To knit your Eastern Sunset Shawl, we recommend needle size 3.5mm (in 80cm length for standard knitting needles).
