In Scheepjes' 9th issue of Pretty Little Things - Forest Animals, discover some of the furry, spiky and hibernating animals from our local environment here in Europe. The first design is the Cosy Cub Sleeping Bag designed by Jo Allport. It is just what a little one needs to keep snug this season! Knitted in moss stitch in gorgeous rustic shades of Scheepjes Merino Soft, this project brings the essence of the forest into all homes and hands. The adorable bear buttons add the perfect finishing touch!

Scheepjes Merino Soft (50% Superwash Merino Wol, 25% Microfibre, 25% Acrylic; 50g/105m)
- Yarn A: 608 Dali x 5 balls
- Yarn B: 619 Gauguin x 5 balls
- Yarn C: 642 Caravaggio x 1 ball
4.00mm knitting needles
20 x 28mm bear buttons

The second pattern is Mr. Prickles Pincushion, designed by Elizabeth Barraclough. Mr. Prickles is the perfect forest friend to welcome into your sewing space! Made from felt with hand-embroidered features and a cute button nose, this project is a fun way to learn some new crafting skills in no time at all. It can be either worn on the wrist or attached to a sewing machine.

The third design is Mrs. Fox, designed by Nienke Jongstra. It is the perfect toy for a baby or toddler! Mrs. Fox is made using Scheepjes Catona, a 100% Mercerised Cotton yarn collection that is produced using recycled waste water and is certified safe for use by babies and children. Add an optional rattle or squeaker inside to create a new forest friend for a special little someone in your life to play with!
