Rainbows never fail to inspire crafters worldwide with their vibrant and magical displays of colours which literally brighten up our lives! The 6th issue of Pretty Little Things celebrates these wonderful explosions of colour by sharing 3 brightly-coloured designs; a scarf, a cushion and a blanket - each made using different crafts. No matter how small, a colourful design provides a welcome splash of colour to our days.

In this edition of Pretty Little Things, we showcase 3 patterns made using 2 different crafts. Below you will find information about the designs and the required materials.

Octo-Rainbow Blanket

The first design is the captivating knitted Spectrum Scarf designed by Amanda Beaumont, showcasing all the awe-inspiring hues of the rainbow as well as the gradual colour gradient of the beloved Scheepjes Whirl yarns. The finished scarf measures 54cm along the diagonal x 205cm long after blocking.

3.50mm knitting needles

TThe second pattern is a colourful punch needle design made using Scheepjes Catona and Chunky Monkey yarns! The Rainpom Cushion designed by Loes ter Haar showcases fabulous textures and fun pompoms representing puffy clouds. A soft piece of upholstery foam inside keeps the cushion upright and helps to maintain its shape.

The final and third pattern featured in this issue of Pretty Little Things is the marvellous Octo-Rainbow Blanket designed by Elise Verra and crocheted with Scheepjes Chunky Monkey yarns. A hexagonal arch adds a modern and quirky touch to this small blanket, and playful tassels complete the look.
