Crochet pattern: Sam the Chick

Did you get the chance to see the little crocheted chickens we had on display at our stall during the H + H expo in Cologne? Well, good news! Tessa van Riet-Ernst from Woolytoons Crochet has published the pattern for the ever so loveable Sam the Chicken for us all to enjoy. 

Sam is soft, sweet, and a little bit cheeky.  And with his adorable beanie, which fits a baby or toddler too, we reckon he makes a wonderful gift that’s the ideal balance of original and quirky! 

Sam the Chicken is roughly 25cm tall, and is made from a combination of the following Scheepjes yarns:

• 1 ball Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft (for the body) colour 025/light yellow
• 1 ball Scheepjes Stone Washed XL (for the feet) colour 874 Morganite, or 856 Coral
• 1 ball Scheepjes Eliza (for the beanie) in the colour of your choice!
