Use this rounding template to draw curved lines and irregular shapes. It’s very useful for pattern drawing on tailored clothing, for drawing or adjusting necklines, side seams, bust darts, collars, armholes or sleeves in blouses, shirts, jackets, trousers, dresses and skirts. It’s also known as French curve or a Burmester (curve) set (after its inventor, the mathematician Ludwig Burmester). This template is of course also suitable as a drawing aid for other hobbies.
