Gütermann Outdoor 40 is the ideal thread for sewing outdoor textiles, such as cushions and upholstery for garden furniture and boats, bags and outdoor accessories. Standard sewing thread can get quickly damaged by various weather conditions and quickly loses its colour due to bright sunlight, for instance. Gütermann Outdoor 40 is extra strong and resistant to all sorts of harmful external influences, such as heat, cold, dirt and moisture. In addition, UV light and (salt) water do not affect this thread. It is durable and resistant to wear and is colourfast. It is made from 100% polyester, washable up to 60°C and suitable for tumble drying at a low temperature. This thread can be sewn by hand and on a normal household sewing machine with a universal needle. The recommended needle size is NM 90-110 is available in many different colours. One spool of Gütermann Outdoor 40 holds 400 metres of thread.
