Chemical lace is a type of machine-made lace where a continuous lace pattern is embroidered with embroidery thread on an acetate base fabric. This chemically-treated base fabric disintegrates after the pattern has been created. Nowadays, water-soluble embroidery stabiliser is also used as base.

This chemical lace trim has a very luxurious feel to it. It is made from matte polyester and washable up to 40ᵒC. it is 70mm wide. Available in a white colour. Supplied per card of 13 metres.
