DMC’s Mouliné Stranded Cotton is known worldwide for its gorgeous sheen and silky texture. Embroidery floss is an exceptionally versatile embroidery thread, since the thickness of the thread can be modified to the desired weight. The 6 strands of DMC’S Stranded Cotton are easily separated. It is suggested to use one strand for really fine, detailed embroidery projects or for creating edges for colour areas, two or three strands for slightly coarse embroidery, and four, five or six strands for more coarse embroidery. Suitable for all sorts of embroidery. DMC’s Stranded Cotton is made from 100% mercerised cotton, holds 8 metres of thread per strand and is available in an extensive range of solid and gradient colours.

This DMC Mouliné Spécial prestige box contains 35 inspiring colours of embroidery floss, with which DMC expanded its colour range in 2017. The colours are divided into three colour groups: Industrial (neutral greys and browns), Zen Garden (reds and pastels) and Royal (blues and purples). There is 1 skein of embroidery floss for each colour. The box also contains an embroidery pattern, so that you can start embroidering immediately. The embroidery books DMC Point de croix/Cross-Stitch no. 01 and 02 (see items no. 15480-22 and 15481-22) contain cross-stitch motifs especially designed for this colour palette. The gold-coloured tin box measures 35 x 19 x 2.5cm.
