Amann Seraflex is the perfect sewing thread for elastic seams on stretchy fabrics. Backstitch seams in particular become very elastic (they retain up to 60-80% elasticity, considerably more than with a regular sewing thread). The thread is made from 100% PTT (Polytrimethylene terephthalate), is certified according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 label and is suitable for all types of clothing for children and adults, especially underwear, lingerie, nightwear, outdoor and sportswear. We recommend using Seraflex for both upper and lower thread and to loosen the thread tension as much as possible. The recommended needle size is NM 70/80. Washable up to 60ᵒC. One spool of Amann Seraflex holds 130 metres of thread. Available in many different colours.
